Our website uses content and services of third parties. These include, for example, tools for sending newsletters and analysing user behaviour. In order for the services to be made available, it is imperative that the IP address be transmitted from your terminal to the third-party provider. Wherever possible, we have chosen a configuration that conforms to data protection regulations. However, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. The third-party vendors are listed below.

5.4.1 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. "("Google").

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on the user's computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by users is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymisation has been activated on this website so that the IP address of Google users within Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. We would therefore like to point out to you that data processing within the framework of Google Analytics may under certain circumstances also take place outside the scope of EU law.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services to the website operator relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser, but please note that if you do this, your use of the site may be impaired. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Further information can be found at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en or https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en (general information on Google Analytics and data protection). Please note that the code “anonymizeIp();” has been added to Google Analytics for our website to anonymize the IP addresses, which involves the deletion of the last octet.

5.4.2 Google Tag Manager

This website uses the Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed through an interface. The Google Tag Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is collected. The Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn collect data if necessary. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, it remains valid for all tracking tags if they are implemented with the Google Tag Manager.

5.4.3 Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

As a Google AdWords customer, we use Google conversion tracking, an analytics service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). If you access our website after clicking on a Google ad, Google AdWords places a cookie (“conversion cookie”) on your computer system. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to identify users personally. If you visit specific pages of our website and if the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google will be able to tell that someone has clicked on the ad and so was forwarded to our page. Every AdWords customer receives a different cookie. That means cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected by the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted-in for conversion tracking. AdWords customers are informed about the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were forwarded to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not obtain any information enabling them to identify users personally. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to its use by preventing installation of the cookies by means of a setting in your browser software (deactivation option). You are then not included in the conversion tracking statistics. The legal basis for processing personal data using cookies is Article 6 (1) point (f) GDPR.You can find more information from Google at www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/ and policies.google.com/privacy .
